K.G. McAbee is the author of six novels, a short story collection and almost forty short stories. Her novel A FINE IMPERSONATION from Abby the Troll Publications was a fantasy finalist in the 2001 Eppie Awards and was nominated for a Preditor'n'Editors Readers' Award; her short story "The Scent of Gardenias" won 1st prize in the Writers' Journal Fiction Contest; her story "End of the Beginning" was nominated for a Sapphire Award from Science Fiction Romance; another short, "Eternal Love", was a finalist in the Write From the Heart Competition; and her novel ESCAPE THE PAST won the 1999 Dorothy Parker Award of Excellence from Reviewers International Organization. She is currently involved as executive editor in the start-up of a new electronic/POD publisher called NovelBooks, Inc. In her tiny fragments of spare time, she's remodeling log cabin built in 1818, on five acres in upstate South Carolina.
