Jo Anne McCraw, a native Texan, has always been a romantic. In high school, she discovered the works of Daphne duMaureir, particularly Frenchman’s Creek, and left Texas behind in her imagination for another place, another era. Married to her gallant hero, Bill, they have two sons, Gary and Wayne, a wonderful “daughter” Jen, who is married to Wayne. And four very special granddaughters: Autumn, Sarah, Erica and Olivia. She shares many wonderful, lighthearted moments with them. They bring so much joy and laughter into her life and they brighten up her spirit on dreary days.

JoAnne has a critique partner who is also her mentor, Nancy Madison. She is supported in her love of the Regency period by her author/mentor, Pat Cody, author of Regency set historicals. Last but not least, JoAnne shares her office with her furry child and muse, Libby, a Miniature Dachshund. Libby, who won’t stay outdoors alone, has gotten JoAnne to work on her laptop outdoors. JoAnne calls that her ‘other’ office.
