| Microsoft Reader Format |  |

A terrific new format, Microsoft Reader, is here! This format will display ebooks with unsurpassed brilliance and ease of use on either your computer or your Pocket PC. Using the free Microsoft Reader software is very simple. After you purchase (click for the freebie title, Shadow of Love), a title from us in the Microsoft Reader format, just drag the title into the My Library folder which is inside your My Documents folder. Where are these folders?- right on your PC desktop.

Each book title is dragged into the My Library folder. That's it!
Below is a detailed step-by-step to get your books into either your PC or your Pocket PC:
To open and read MS Reader files on your PC, (not a Mac unfortunately), and load your books:
1) To download the Microsoft reader software for the regular PC computer (not Pocket PC), CLICK!
2) Once downloaded, double-click the icon and the Reader will install on your computer.
3) While you're on the download page, remember to download your book or books. :-) To unzip, double-click the icon, then click the Unzip button. It will unzip itself into a folder on your hard drive named "as_msr" (minus the quote marks).
4) On your hard drive find the My Documents folder. Click it open. Then click open the My Library folder inside. This is where you will put all of your MS Reader ebooks. The books must be in this folder so your MS Reader application can find them.
5) Now open your C drive (by first opening your My Computer icon). Find the "as_msreader" folder, click it open, find your ebook file.
6) Now drag the ebook file out of the "as_msreader" folder and put it into the My Library window that should already be open.
7) Close all windows. Then start the Reader application. Your ebook will appear when you start the Reader application. Click on the title to start reading the book.
8) Once in the Reader software, a space, the right arrow, or the down arrow will turn the page, (left or up arrow turns to previous pages).
To install the MS Reader files on your Pocket PC, and load your books:
NOTE: Many models of the Pocket PC come with the MS Reader software already installed. If yours doesn't, check with the manufacturer to see if you can obtain the software for your Pocket PC. If you are unsuccessful, you might want to use the Mobipocket Reader instead. All of our books are available in Mobipocket format, and you can download Mobipocket Reader for your Pocket PC, click here. Ignore the rest of these instructions, since they apply to MS Reader for Pocket PC instead of Mobipocket Reader.
1) In your browser, go to the URL included in your purchase confirmation email, and download your book or books. To unzip, double-click the icon, then click the Unzip button. It will unzip itself into a folder on your hard drive named "as_msr" (minus the quote marks).
2) On your hard drive find the My Documents folder. Click it open. Then click open the My Library folder inside. This is where you will put all of your MS Reader ebooks. The books must be in this folder so your MS Reader application can find them.
3) Plug in your Pocket PC (either by placing it in its cradle or by a sync cable directly to your desktop computer).
4) A Microsoft Active Sync box will open. Click the EXPLORE button at the top of the box.. Another box will open showing the contents of your Mobile Device. Now that your reading device is connected with synchronized files enabled, the eBook will automatically be transferred to your device. It will then show up in the Mobile Device Box and also on your handheld reader in the My Library file.
5) It's that easy. You now have your Awe-Struck novel on your Pocket PC.
