DESCRIPTION: When a mountain climber falls--he falls fast and he falls far. Buck Halloran has the broken bones to prove it. What he doesn't expect during his convalescence is to fall fast and hard for the woman next door who first attracts him with incredible aromas from her kitchen, then drops out of a tree almost into his lap. She enchants him with her glowing smile and sultry laughter, as well as her voice in the night as they converse from their bedrooms, separated by nothing more than a narrow lane and a maple tree. |

Darcy Gallagher doesn't want to like the hot-shot, world-renowned mountaineer. She'd rather strangle him than feed him, especially after he scares her half to death by stealing pies and other goodies from her larder, making her think she has an intruder lurking in her house. But still, it's not in her nature to let anyone go hungry, so she prepares his meals and in doing so, discovers she--and he--share a different kind of hunger, one she's incapable of subduing. Feeding it seems only to make it grow stronger. Buck wants Darcy to share his life, but how can she when her deepest needs demand that she stay put in order to become an adoptive mother? With his opposing desire to realize his own ambitions, which will take him far to live a life of danger and adventure, is there any way these two people with completely different agendas can come together while both still having what they want? |

REVIEWS "From the moment he heard her laugh, he knew he was in trouble... Ms Gill engages our imagination, thrills us with sensual scenes from two different bedrooms. What a romp through a fairy tale sex scene and what a wild imagination can do to an incapcitated man. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll enjoy this one with all your heart if you have one ounce of romance in your soul. A must read for the romance crowd." Reviewed by Rita Hestand for Romancing the Web, 4 1/2 STARS "Buck and Darcy have more than their love to share. But first they must find a way for their dreams to change, as they realize that sometimes love is what makes life worth living... a warm and vastly entertaining book " Reviewed by Karen Steele for RCRG Reviews "HEAD OVER HEELS is one of those funny yet tender stories that I just love to curl up with on a cool evening. Both Buck and Darcy are lovable characters who will make you laugh and sigh as they try to figure out how to make their relationship work. Some may say it gets rather purplish in places, but I didn't mind. I was too busy laughing out loud at Ms. Gill's wicked sense of humor. All about relationships, and how good it is when it's right, HEAD OVER HEELS is one story I can highly recommend if you're looking for something light with lots of spice." Author BIO:Judy Gill is a compulsive writer who confesses to having once strode through a campground in Germany begging sheets of writing paper from perfect strangers in her imperfect German. All this because she'd left her typewriter at home {this was a VACATION as her husband insisted}, and when the writing bug bit she was forced to use every scrap of paper in her trailer, including both sides of brown paper grocery bags before going on the prowl for more paper. The resulting book was the only one she ever did in longhand--and was the first draft of POCKETS FULL OF JOY, her first re-release from Awe-Struck. To her great joy, she now does her "camping" aboard a 30' boat, and has a laptop computer for when the bug bites, which seems to be daily. |
